These products are the ones we have settled on for incontinence issues. We’ve tried several different brands and products, but these are the best. If you are dealing with incontinence issues, give them a try.
The Medline Heavy Absorbency Chux are the best I have found for a reasonable price. They soak up liquid and the backing keeps it from getting on the bed or chair. The wipes are the same as the ones used at a skilled nursing facility Kay stayed in to rehab after a recent surgery and are quite good.
The Tena brand incontinence underwear is the best we have found and the poise pads also work wonders.
I (Steve) use the following supplements. My functional medicine practitioner helped refine my approach as at first I was grasping at straws. I purchase most of these from Amazon.
I take the Berberine, the Alpha Lipoic Acid, and the Chromium Picolonate for blood sugar control. I have been able to completely get off of the prescription meds for diabetes through diet and exercise, and these help keep my levels down. The Resveratrol also seems to help with blood sugar for me. I urge you to see a functional medicine practitioner or other holistic practitioner to help with dosing and an exact combination that will work for you. You can visit the Institute for Functional Medicine website to locate a doctor or practitioner in your area. The link above will take you directly to the “find a practitioner” page.
